"From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand" -Matthew 4:7

Are you sure that you are going to Heaven after you die?

This is a question everyone has asked themselves at various times throughout their lives. Most people think if they are a "good person" they will automatically be allowed to enter heaven after they die. Unfortunately, according to the Bible, that is not the case.

"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."
Matthew 7:13-14,21

You see, we were originally created by God to be sinless enlightened creatures in his own image.

"This is the written account of Adam's line. When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God. He created them male and female and blessed them. And when they were created, he called them "man."
Genesis 5:1-2

God made the Earth and the Garden of Eden for us to live in perfect harmony with Him and his other creations of various animal and plant life forms. Sin and evil were not supposed to be in this equation. God created us to fellowship with him as his children. Adam and Eve lived in this perfect paradise, talking with and enjoying the presence of God on a daily basis.

"Then Adam and Eve his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden. But the LORD God called Adam, "Where are you?
Genesis 3:8

Not only did God create us in his own image, but he gave us the choice of free will. God didn’t want a bunch of same thinking, acting, robots following him around but desired different personalities and various characters in his creation.

" But the man who has settled the matter in his own mind, who is under no compulsion but has control over his own will
1 Corinthians 7:37

God gave us a choice of our thought processes and how we would conduct ourselves in this life. God also laid down the law to Adam and Eve.

" The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."
Genesis 2:15,16,17

As we all know, Adam and Eve choose to disobey God's simple command by disobedience and allowing evil into their lives as well as their (our) world. You see, because of this we are now a cursed creation, along with this whole world, and all its life-forms. We, as well as this world, were never meant to be corrupted by evil.

" But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear."
Isaiah 59:2

This present state was not God's intention. We, along with this world and everything on it, are living a blasphemy to God who is Holy and without blemish or sin. God cannot abide with us in our filthy, corrupt, sinful state. We are a abomination to him as a corrupted creation.

"The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain. So the LORD said, "I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air—for I am grieved that I have made them."
Genesis 6:5,6,7

God struggles with us as a corrupt creation and was going to clean the slate, so to speak, and wipe us out. But Noah found favor in the sight of the Lord and followed his commandments.

"Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God. Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham and Japheth. Now the earth was corrupt in God's sight and was full of violence. God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. So God said to Noah, "I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. So make yourself an ark of cypress [c] wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out. This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be 450 feet long, 75 feet wide and 45 feet high. Make a roof for it and finish the ark to within 18 inches of the top. Put a door in the side of the ark and make lower, middle and upper decks. I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish. But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife and your sons' wives with you. You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you. Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive. You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for you and for them." Noah did everything just as God commanded him."
Genesis 6:5,6,7

Noah and his family were spared, as well as the earth, and the chosen creations God had told Noah to save on the ark. But sin was still with them and in the world, as illustrated further on in the book of Genesis.

"Now the men of Sodom were wicked and were sinning greatly against the LORD"
Genesis 13:13

The Lord God, in his never-ending mercy and love for us, designed a way to correct our sinful condition by sending his son Jesus Christ, in human form, down to Earth to live among us without the taint and corruption of sin. Jesus taught us a way out of this curse of evil.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son Jesus Christ that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
John 3:16

Jesus sacrificed himself on the cross while absorbing all the sin and evil we have and will ever commit in our lives on this earth. My sins and your sins were laid upon Jesus and He died in our place. He became our substitute.

"He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world."
1 John 2:2

By accepting Jesus Christ as our savior we can be saved, purified, and transformed from this sinful curse and then be restored into God's holy presence. We will escape God's eternal judgment.

"In Him and through faith in Him we may approach God with freedom and confidence"
Ephesians 3:12

"In Him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace."
Ephesians 1:7

But again our free will is involved in this equation. To be saved from our corrupted sinful existence, we must acknowledge that we are sinners and that Jesus Christ sacrificed himself for our sins.

"The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him.""
John 3:35-36

"This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus."
Romans 3:22,23,24

After Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross for our sins, he died a physical death and rose from the grave in a holy glorified form and revealed to us that death as a believer in Christ is not to be feared.

"They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again'".
Luke 24:2-7

"While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you." They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost. He said to them, "Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have." When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them. While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven. "
Luke 24:36-39,50-51

God has never turned his back on us or stopped loving us. We are his children and his creation, he yearns to have a relationship with us. Unfortunately, through our free will, we can reject Him or accept Him. To accept God, we have to ask for redemption through Jesus Christ. Some people say that God is not a loving God because of all the suffering and death that he has allowed to happen in this world. The suffering and death in this world was, and is, caused by the curse of evil our ancestors allowed into it, by their free will, while we continue to feed it with our own free will. We are suffering the consequences for our disobedience to God. We were never meant to suffer and die in this existence. We were supposed to live forever fellowshipping with God in his perfectly created utopia. We were cheated by evil and lost our inheritance! We failed God, he did not fail us! Now we, this earth, and all the animals and plant life on it, are cursed until Jesus Christ comes back to restore what we corrupted with our sin.

"I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory about to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the children of God; for the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage of decay and will obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God."
Romans 8:18-21

"Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign forever and ever."
Revelation 11:15

God loves us and with his mercy gave us all a way to denounce our evil nature and restore ourselves as cleansed children of God. One simple prayer to God can change this for you.

1. Just tell God you love him and thank him for sending his son Jesus Christ to earth to die for your sins.

2. Ask God to forgive you of the sins you have committed in the past and to help you live a righteous life.

3. Tell Jesus Christ that you accept his sacrifice on the cross for your sins and believe he died on the cross and rose from the dead for your sake.

4. Ask Jesus Christ into your soul to purify it and reinstate you as a holy child of God then ask Jesus to guide you and teach you the ways of God.

5. Lastly, ask God in the name of Jesus Christ to bind and cast out all evil from you and your life.

Do this and you will be saved from your evil corrupted state and be given back your inheritance of eternal life and fellowship with God.

Once you are saved, God will send down the Holy Spirit to teach you, guide you, and help you to live in this world of corruption.

" And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. "
John 14:16-17

Image never feeling alone again! You will have the creator of the universe to talk to and share your needs and thoughts with at any time. No one knows you better than God. Jesus Christ is our mediator to God for us.

When you pray to God always finish your prayer in Jesus Name ( say, "I ask this prayer in Jesus Name, Amen" )

" Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it. "
John 14:13-14
